Rug Spotting

I will never tire of spotting a great rug. They can truly transform a space and when I design a room, I prefer to start from the ground up. Some rugs are statement pieces, like these geometric carpets.

Fantastic pattern in this Steven Gambrel room.

I love this plaid rug, it works so well in the space.

This geometric rug adds a fun twist to a classic space.

I love the southwest influence this rug brings to the room.

I also appreciate rugs that have a softer, more neutral quality.

Tobi Fairley uses a gorgeous carpet to complement an all-blue room.

A large, all-white rug keeps this room feeling spacious and contemporary.

A white cowhide rug adds a funky touch to a modern room.

Keri Russell’s carpet entices visitors to cozy up to her fireplace.

A classic sisal is always a great choice for a neutral carpet.

Do you love a great rug as much as I do?

Do you prefer a geometric statement piece or something soft and complementary?
